Trädgår’n in Bygdeå is looking for staff.

We are looking for one to two people who have experience in sales, retail, and customer contact. For our nursery in Bygdeå, where we grow all our plants ourselves, we want to find someone who can work in the greenhouse with potting plants, handling cuttings, filling soil in pots, etc., and also unpack and style in the store, operate the cash register, and help take responsibility and plan for order packing, etc. This is a more prominent role than just cultivation. Tell us what you are good at. The job and scope depend a lot on what goals we shape together. Great emphasis is placed on organizational skills and social abilities as we want to maintain a pleasant atmosphere with high ceilings but a focus on customer care, as we ultimately work with quality and service for our customers. You must be flexible and self-driven as it can get quite busy later in the season with a lot of pressure when everything needs to be sold and delivered at the same time. You should enjoy a fast-paced environment. It is an advantage if you have some education in gardening or cultivation or at least have a strong interest in it. This is a seasonal industry where we grow in the spring and sell in early summer. It is a bit quieter in July when we close at the end of the month. Part-time employment with weekend work starting in March. We would prefer if you could return for future seasons as well, so it’s perfect if you have other things to do for the rest of the year.
